Rewaste Solutions was established in 2014 amidst the nation’s cry to preserve the dignity of the community members residing in close proximity to the landfills across the country. We started with a vision to change the face of waste management in Botswana through innovative products and practices. We partnered with MOLOK Oy Finland and Rent-A-Drum Namibia to introduce the MOLOK system in Botswana. The MOLOK system is a vertical underground waste bin system that reduces waste collection costs, odors, litter, and environmental impact. It is an innovative product that identifies Waste Collection with Eco-Elegance.
We also partnered with the Botswana Association for the Deaf to employ physically challenged members of our community and integrate them into our working environment. We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to work and contribute to society. We also believe that diversity and inclusion are essential for our success as a company.
Since then, we have expanded our product and service portfolio to include waste segregation at source, recyclable waste sorting, baling and buy-back center, pre, during and post event waste management, clinical waste collection, compostable refuse bags, and food waste composting. We have also grown our customer base to include households, businesses, schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, malls, events, government entities, and more.
